I love looking at everyone's pet pictures in the gallery and thought it might be nice to have an ongoing topic in the Forums where we can upload images of our best friends, past and present, and keep them all together. I don't think there's a dedicted Pets forum or thread, so shall we start here? We can upload posh pics, amateur pics, funny pics, in fact, any sort of picture at all as long as it's of our pets.

Here's my Gracie. Rehomed a year ago from Celia Hammond's rehoming centre in Canning Town. She was a sad old thing, having been housed in a small cage for about 3 months and too frightened of all the other cats to leave it. Her legs were very wobbly at first as she'd not had any exercise for such a long time, and she's still not a terrific jumper, but she loves playing with string and tearing up kitchen towel. She's a real sweetheart. Smile

I'm really looking forward to seeing your animal friends and hopefully we can keep the topic going.

Aw, I knew you'd all come up with some gorgeous pics.
So sorry Gareth about Roxy. She was certainly a sweet girl.

This is Mia. She came to us as a stray about 3yrs ago. She's just been diagnosed with heart failure, so I don't know how long she'll be with us, but she's a very loving cat. A Birman Sealpoint...her fur changes colour dependent on the light Smile

I love the orientals. So superior and elegant. Good to know she's got a good home.

My condolences Gareth, it's always a wrench when the time comes for them to leave us.

Charlie, who my partner and I inherited when my mum passed away. They were inseparable.

Alfie, my better half's fox terrier. Fortunately the two of them get on famously.

Coco, who isn't quite as sociable. He tried biting me just earlier today! And let me tell you, a bite from one of these fellas is no laughing matter. But he entertains us with his antics. Once during a romantic film when one character declared his love, Coco flatly announced, 'I love ya back.'

So sad to read some of the posts above. From a Leonard Cohen song;

Everybody knows that the boat is leaking
Everybody knows that the captain lied
Everybody got this broken feeling
Like their father or their dog just died.

I cried when my dog died but not my father. Here's Milly, a madder than mad pointer type. And with her big sister when she was a pup.
