ppi for ePhotozine comps

Hi all. I have done a search but can't find. Sorry.
Not entered competitions in here before. So I need to know this--What ppi shoiuld my image/s be 72 or 300ppi @ 600x600

The images need to be 600 pixels along the longest edge.

It does not matter what the ppi is, as they will be viewed on a monitor (the ppi setting determins how many pixels will be printed per inch when you print onto physical media)

THANKS. I asked as some sites with comps either want 72ppi or 300ppi. I normaly leave mine at 300ppi. Am I correct in saying that members here use 100ppi mostly ?

For web use the ppi is not relevant. For EPZ standard images they are 600 x 600 pixels as Matt states.
