Prints

I would like to print off a few of my ever growing number of shots on my PC taken on my Nikon D70.
Just what is the best route for the very best quality that will warrant expensive framing.
I am a bit dubious about the high street pop in type of establishments.
I will be looking at sizes from the typical 6" x 4" up to A3.

Thanks

Whenever I get photos printed I get them done at Peak Imaging. No hassle buying and setting up a printer and good quality prints.

Another vote for Peak, especially now I've got a profiled monitor and their colour profiles installed - excellent results.

I've used high street stores for a few rush jobs, but the quality is pants in comparision.

I use photobox for posters and stuff I can't otherwise print here (eg some green tones which epson pigments can't hack).

How does Peak compare with Photobox? I know the machines are basically the same, but what about the paper?

I've just had some poster size prints from Photobox - they have an offer on this month for certain sizes including 30"x20" prints for 5.99 - and I'm very happy with the results.

Peak use Fujicolor Professional paper - that's what is says on the back of some recent prints from them. It is thicker than the Fuji Crystal Archive paper that Jessops use.
