PSE 7 Image size

I have recently bought PSE7 and liking it very much. I really like the ease with which I can work on RAW files and the image takes up most of the screen but when I open it into the editor, the image goes very small - approx 4" x 3".

Can anyone please tell me how to increase the image size in the editor.

Maximise that work space window

Then View /fit on screen or zoom on/out

Not sure Alan, my work space windows automatically open maximised, which will have been the size I had it set at when I last closed the application/work space.

The image size in the organiser is fine and also in the raw converter but once I go into the editor, it "shrinks". I make the changes, save and close the image and there it is in full size again in the organiser. I tried what you suggested but to no avail.

Any more ideas ?

Just wondering what the actual size of your image is? Is it 4 x 3, in which case that may be why it is displaying that size? Are you resizing your jpegs without, perhaps, realising it?

Not on my laptop at present but 4 x 3 was approx. size.

Have not touched resizing (well I think not!) but why is it that JUST the editor page only shows the smaller size ? Surely If I HAD resized somewhere, other screens would have been effected ?

This is bugging me so decided to go on my laptop and do a bit of research.

Firstly, I was wrong with my earlier image size in the editor screen, I have measured it and it`s 6 x 4 approx. One click on the magnifying tool makes it just over 7 x 5 so that`s a bit easier to work with.
The Image size box shows the document size of 14.293 inches wide and 9.493 inches in height with a resoltion of 300. All 3 boxes at the bottom of the box are ticked.

If you have a minute, could you please let me know what the Image Size box shows on your set up.
