Hard though it is to believe, one of the true legends of Guitar, Gary Moore, passed away last night, seen him live many times & met a couple of times.
Could make a guitar sing, cry and put an amazing amount of emotion into the music. there's not many who could/can play with the feel he could convey, he'll be sorely missed.

Thoughts & prayers with His family & friends at this time.

Although his style was not my cup of tea, I still acknowledge him as one of the all-time great electric players.

Just been told about this. Sad loss indeed. I remember buying his "After Hours" album and going to another gig to find him playing as the unamed support. Amazing guitar player, he could make his Gibson sing.

f..k really ?

He made that guitar sing , no shredding , and made the perfect licks with Lizzy.

Hoe Satriani, Steve Vai et al , would never have got there intonation without him.

Thats a bad news man bb
