What is the best way to take shots of rainbows?
With or without polarisor? etc.,etc.,etc..

Firstly find a rainbow ...









... only kidding, I believe you're going to get the best results with a polariser. If you look at Jeanie's shot of the Rowan tree and rainbow [with polariser] on Lochan na h-Achlaise [Rannoch Moor] from the Rowardennan meet - compared to mine [without polariser], you will see the difference a polariser will/can make. These were taken at approximately the same time - give or take a few minutes.

You have to be very careful with your framing so that you get Bungle in without chopping off his head.

I haven't got a clue how best to capture them....a grad on the sky would do it for me.
