RAW files : Panasonic GX7
How do I know if RAW files from this are supported by Photoshop CS ? I know various makes have their own RAW types such as DNG, PEP --- can I ask ADOBE or some-one on here tell me please?

CHeck out this list. It shows every camera and the minimum raw file version you need to use.
In your case, the GX7 raw files are supported by ACR version 8.2 or higher. Check your photoshop to see what raw file version it takes.
