Recommendations For Video With External Mic Socket

Hi all,

As per title, I'm looking for recommendations for a camera the has an external mic socket. 4k video would be nice but not essential. I've looked at the Eos 850D but the reviews suggest it's over priced for what it is.

Any ideas?

Have a look at the Panasonic GH models. Highly regarded by many for video and very popular, so many, many reviews, tutorials and articles.

Canon SL2 (200D) would be a good choice. Have a look. Enjoy the search.

Thanks for the replies, I did look at the Panasonic, it looks great, though a little complicated.

The EOS 200d has been discontinued, the replacement 250d looks good with 4K video, I’ve always had EOS, right back from the 35mm EOS600 to my last EOS5d. They are really easy to use.
