Ricoh GRiii, or Fujifilm X100V?
I unfortunately dropped my old faithful Ricoh GRii which is damaged beyond repair.
I saw the Ricoh GRiii as the natural replacement, but Fujifilms X100V looks interesting. I had two X100s, didnt ever bond with them as with the Ricoh, and the 23mm lens never came close to the sharpness of the Ricoh, which is why I chose that route eventually.
I shoot mostly casual and street, - any opinions, or have I already make my decision....

As the newest version of the X100 has only just been launched this week, I doubt if there is anyone on her with experience of it yet - yet alone able to compare it to the Ricoh.
If it is a case of you not being able to get your hands on one to test for a day or two, I would suggest the safe thing is to stick with what you know from before...

I've had a look at the X100V - the lens is greatly improved, and I was impressed by the macro performance as well (and unimpressed by the macro performance of the earlier X100 lens):

The main difference is how pocketable to Ricoh GR series is, with the X100V being larger (with a viewfinder) and more a jacket pocket camera, whereas the GR is small enough to fit into trouser pockets.

I am sorry to hear about your accident banehawi. Were you using the wrist strap when tha accident happen? I would go for the Ricoh, I consider it rather pocket friendly.
