Incredibly sad and unexpected news - his work made me look at the world new way, that dark, brooding view inspired so many.

Sorry to hear. He was a popular and much revered member back when I was more active here myself. He knew his onions, photographically. Never met him but I guess he can't have been that old. RIP.

This is indeed sad news. Andy was one of the stalwarts in the early days of epz and he clearly inspired many of us, me included. My condolences to his family.

Some lovely contributions here and good to see some old names popping in to pay their respects
Just heard from member Louise - it was Monday when he died and he was 58

I was given the sad news about Andy this morning when Jasmine phoned me, Doug and I met up with Andy and Jasmine a couple of times when they were on holiday in Scotland and enjoyed their company whilst doing what both him and Doug loved, taking photographs. He will be sadly missed, I will tell Jasmine about this thread and maybe at some time in the future it will give her comfort to read the comments and know that he inspired so many people.
