For anyone that may be interested. Who do you reckon will win the fight later?

Difficult one to predict. If Ruiz has got any fitness rather than just fatness I would go for him. On of Anthony Joshua's problems is that in his own mind he can beat himself..........Needs patience and to keep away from Ruiz for four or five rounds........

I agree, definitely a tough one to predict. I would have thought that the physique difference pointed to a clear winner in the first fight, but clearly not, as Ruiz's speed and ability far outweighed the extra few pounds he may have been carrying.
I guess Ruiz now has the confidence that he's beaten Josnua once and he can possibly do it again. But then again, lots of pressure on Joshua to win this one and he now has a better understanding of what to expect.

Having perused the June fight...Ruiz seems to be a heavy/flabby slugger...so maybe this is his advantage...and now he’s even heavier...less training, more fridge visits..? his contest fee enables more luxury car purchases, so maybe he doesn’t need to be bothered..

I hope Joshua can make it, showing more boxing skills, training and dedication to the expertise of boxing, rather than having to combat a flabby, slugger....

I'll give you a sound advice: "...never bet on a horse that suffers from Parkinson's" (The Curse of the Jade Scorpion, 2001)

No wonder Ruiz lost if he's spent three months partying, I didn't realise that until reading it after the fight. What a fool. A lifetime of hard work to gain a world title. You would have thought he would have had a stronger desire to hold on to it. With that in mind, well deserved win by Joshua.
