SmileSmileHave not used this camera for a while so recharged the batteries last night, it starts up ok
all functions seem to work ok except that there is no image viewable in rear window and no
recorded image on the card.
Is this a sensor fault and is it worth repairing?

Try (from another thread)

Quote:3) The camera has been left a long period without batteries in. Load the batteries and wait a period before switching the camera on.

I agree with Jas, it's worth a try.

Most if not all cameras have a built in battery, as backup for the internal clock. I know from reading my manual (who says blokes don't?) that if you leave the main battery out for a long period of time, you need to put a fully charged battery in for a while, to recharge the internal one, before you can use it.

I'd give it 24 hours.

Give it a try. You have nothing to lose. If the camera still doesn't work, it's no more knackered than it was before you started. Smile
