Samsung A50 Phone Camera

I have the Samsung A50. I use the camera a lot but only for images for the web. I find the quality of the jpegs looks excellent when the images are viewed on a phone or tablet. I've only tried printing one image from the phone. It looked a little lacking in quality when viewed at full resolution in Photoshop, but an A4 print came out surprisingly well and was perfectly acceptable.
Perhaps I'm a little behind the times, but I've never really expected much from the camera on a phone, that's what my 'proper' cameras are for. But, for the sheer convenience of always having a phone with me and the resulting quality of the images for web use, I'm totally happy with the Samsung A50 and have no regrets buying it all.
I've no experience with the top of the range phones, so I've no idea how the A50's camera compares to a high end phone.
I use an app called Open Camera for shooting stills and video on my A50 rather than the built in one.

Tks Justin. I've heard about the Open Camera app so will try that.
Funnily enough, one of the posters compared the A50 to his previous phone, the S4 mini, which is what I had before. He found the camera on the smaller and older phone to be much better.
Never mind, I've always got my trusty compact with me so, as you say, the phone's good for record shots and social media.
Cheers.
