Im waiting untill christmas before i upgrade to a dslr, my buget only allows the pentax k100 or the samsung gx-1s. im heading towards the samsung because of the two lens. i know they are made by the same people

Go for K100D, it's a newer model with Shake reduction, there isn't a Samsung version of this camera.

Then there are plenty of inexpensive third party telezooms from Sigma and Tamron for less that 100 pounds....

But the 50-200 SMC-DA Pentax lens is well-liked apparently.

Just posted this on another thread, and I may be guilty of spreading incorrect info, but I think the samsung lenses don't have the SMC coating, so I would stick with pentax glass.

Probably out of budget but the Pentax DA 16-45mm is a cracking lens.
