Can anyone tell me where I can buy a Sandisk FireWire CF card reader? I'm really struggling to find one.

Cheers

Does it need to be Firewire? Why not USB?

Seems they are not in vogue anymore but you can still get them on eBay.

Look for a Lexar version Jon. I've had one for years - good bit 'o kit.

Hi PJ.

Speed. I understand that FW800 is a lot faster than USB2.0? I can be transferring 300-500 RAW files at a time, I have tried some USB readers and they are painfully slow.

Correct.

And the item on PJ's link is the very one I have Jon. 100% rock solid.

What about this USB3 Card Reader
USB3 is much faster than firewire. If you have a modern computer it may have usb3 if not a USB3 card can be installed.

I got a Macbook Pro and iMac, I'm sure both are USB2. Just won one on eBay so fingers crossed it's OK
