Scanning 35mm negatives using Silverfast 8

3 Aug 2012 2:11PM
Hi - ok so I bought myself a Canon 9000f scanner and it comes with MP Navigator and Silverfast 8. So Silverfast looks great and is clearly the better tool but I can't figure it out!

With Mp Navigator you scan in the negatives which appear as photos and which can then be stored in a folder and used. With Silverfast this seems like a complicated process and I can't find any decent tutorials that show you how to scan in the negatives in the way you do with MP Navigator. With recent negatives I just want to scan them in to use in Lightroom - with older negatives I want to use Silverfast to correct them. Anyone know of any tutorials on this?

Thanks

Chris
