The quality will be good for the format it was designed for i.e 5" x 4". They are normally supplied with a Compur shutter.

The Xenar is a 4 element lens and, although good, it doesn't perform as well as the six-element Schneider Symmar which was the "standard lens" for the Sinar cameras.
