You can cancel a bid up to 12 hours before closing, but it gets a bit more complicated within 12 hours. All the scams have been tried, and hopefully taken care of by ebay.

Well had two e mails from EPZ members re lens and a cheque is in the post to me as i type this with tracking number.
Best all round as i see it as im happy and the member is too.

But thanks for all the opinions and advice but i will sell a few stuff on a e bay but i will sell the smaller value items at first as its no big sacrifice is all goes wrong, not that it will with the advice given

I've never bought from eBay, but I'm selling some of the 50 years accumulation of photographic clutter at the moment.

Check the feedback record of buyers and sellers because reputation is all. People with high positive are very unlikely to scam, either as buyer or seller.

Most definitely, always check the buyer or seller rating.
