Seeking a little advice again. Have just got CS2 and started to take the idea of colour management a bit more seriously.

Question. After setting the "colour settings" in CS2 to Adobe RGB do I now need to change the colour setting on my 10D from sRGB to Adobe RGB.

Thanks in advance. Apologies if it seems a daft question.

Gary

Hi Gary in short no, but you will get better results if you do as Adobe RGB has a wider gamut than sRGB.

Thanks Adrian. If I change then at the very least it will stop CS asking me do I want to convert it every time.

Gary, you should be out enjoying this glorious weather, not sat there playing with CS2! Wink Just got back from 4 glorious hours around the coast.

You noticed! That's a 10D. Actually it's with Lehmanns! Wink Last time I used them, they took 2 days, now they are talking about 7/9 working days!!! Didn't tell me that before I sent it, said "a few days".

Get yourself a nice new cam, Frank - instead of spending loadsamoney on repairing an old one!

You might even be tempted to post some pics! Hee hee! ;o)

Am saving hard Frank. Trouble is I've already spent my bonus this year.

Got one CB! Bought the 5D beginning of Otober, that's the one that's with Lehmanns. Just as well I kept the 10D! Wink Only good thing, Canon will be paying Lehmanns, not me!

Just posted one, what more do you want.Wink Admittedly, it's not brilliant, it's just that Gary and I live about 10-15 miles apart, and whilst it was lovely weather here, he was in a "pea souper"! Just rubbing it in! Wink

With all the vignetting it would have to be a 1000px upload, and I can't afford the 30! Well, I can, but I don't want to!;-(

If anyone from Canon is reading this, please, no more full frame DSLR's. By the time we have cropped off the black bits we are left with a 1.6 crop.
