Hi Gary and Gill

I'll be there next Sunday probably wearing a Nikon cap (yes I know I am sad) If you are there say hello to me and I am sure we can arrange some more. As long as I can post them here as well. or Unless you don't want that

I went with Alan yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it. The general consensus was it was quieter then normal but it was fun anyway even with the rain.

I have been busy today and tomorrow but when I get a chance I will post some of my images.

How about a few more, I would love to see what others have done. Post them in the SVR meeting before it drops off the list.

Hi

I was also there on Sunday. Rained a bit but was still a great day out.

A wonderful atmosphere and a great opportunity to practice photojournalism and people study.

I've been to this event in previuos years, but couldn't go this time as I had other commitments. Parking was a problem then too!

Regards Parking...

At Bridgnorth there is an overflow car park on the hill behind the station (up Station Lane) from there you can walk down to and straight onto the platform level within 2 minutes. we got there about 10 am and managed to get on the car park at the front of the station. I did leave these instructions on the meeting page for this event.

Regards

A bit disappointed...

I got the impression that a lot of people attended this event, yet a relative few have posted images of it in the meeting page.

I would love to see more of what other people experienced at the 40's weekends on the SVR.

Bit like my memories of photo club practical evenings. Everybody took lots pics, but seldom saw any prints from them.

Got the impression that they just liked messing about with cameras.

We are not like that here - are we? Smile Smile Smile

For those interested in the "Day in the life" event, we are haveing a pint and chat next Friday 25th July at the Bandon Arms on the A442 roundabout in Bridgnorth lowtown. we usually arrive between 7.30 - 8pm.

Come along even if you can't make the shoot. We would love to meet a few more who would like to join in on our little photographic escapades.

I'll be the sad one wearing a Nikon cap. But we welcome any breed of camera.

Check out the Day in the life event.
