I have more confidence in Boris to deliver Brexit than I had in Jeremy and his cronies to deliver their manifesto promises. As to Brexit, Jeremy was sat on the fence - some leader!!!

I agree with Hobbo, the loony left are such poor losers.

Or another way of looking at things is Johnson and his gang are good liars...
The non-partisan Coalition for Reform in Political Advertising (CRPA) in a new report found that 88% of Tory election ads were lies while none of Labour ads were lies.

We loony lefites may be bad losers but that could because Johnson's gang are such bad winners.

This country is not going to be healed by the mendacious Johnson: It cannot be healed while we have such a malevolent and mendacious Tory controlled media. Even the more decent Tories have left Johnson's gang.

Some people are saying Corbyn lost the election for Labour.
I say the nation has lost its reason over Brexit.

Oh please . . .

Do you really believe that?

I know you constantly have an axe to grind but even with you can't think that that's true.

Well, if you don't believe me, you can contact the Coalition for Reform in Political Advertising (CRPA). I assume you have evidence that their report is inaccurate?

I have a friend who has the same political leanings as you Gc .....his response has been exactly the same as yours.....the brainwashing you both and far too many others must have been very powerful indeed.

The Marxist far left has been called out for what it is....a mealy mouthed destructive collective of haters of Democracy, this country and its population.
Just read or listen to ANY socialist publication or broadcast.... it does nothing but spread infective dross and misery, nothing happy, no compromises, just the same old fashioned, dead as a duck clap-trap.

The PEOPLE of this Country have democratically and fairly made their choice, and it wasnít for the loony left or the RICH metropolitans of the bbc and other luvies, all of whom earn ? fees far in excess of what any working man or woman can hope to make.... they suck the poor of everything they have whilst at the same time claiming to bleat on their behalf.

The original Labour Party, Was For the working population....but it got taken over by those who just cannot see or hear the voice of the people.

I fail to understand why apparently intelligent, university educated, people refuse not to believe in losers like corbyn, mcdonald and two left shoes ......

I have honestly and openly attempted on many occasions to engage you in a polite and fair manner, but no....just like my friend you choose not to see the truth , not to hear the truth , and not to feel the truth.

I feel genuinely sorry for you.

By the way, Iím not a TORY.....I have voted fir three different Political Parties in the past....because I am a free thinker, one who thinks and acts with Common Sense in mind.

There!..... Iíve said it.

( I bet he still surfaces as deaf and as blind as ever)

Hobbo....exits stage Right ......whistling Colonel Bogey

I assume that you have evidence that it's not . . . ?

Apart from the fact that you read it somewhere and therefore must be true?

Full Fact is the foremost fact checking organisation used by many, including ITV News.
I suggest you check the ITV website.

So you should be - I'm having to put up with your rubbish Wink
I'm not going to argue with you because we clearly have absolutely nothing in common politically. Smile

There's no point in arguing about politics because whatever doubts we have about other aspects of life - we all believe we know best when it comes to politics.Smile

Believe it or not, I've also supported three political parties over the decades: Usually for Labour - then Liberal Dems and the Greens after Blair's first term in 2001.

Maybe you should listen to your friend then Wink just as I hope he listens to you too.

I have strong opinions and sit on the fence on many current affairs issues but on these political matters, I see little to change my views.
A lot of MP's have left the Conservative Party and a lot have left the Labour Party and so it seems to me there is something seriously wrong with our political system. I think we need Proportional Representation because that might get a much more representative result. However, I suppose the drawback might be that some bills might take longer to pass through Parliament.
Apparently, we would have had a hung Parliament in this election under Proportional Representation.

So, how did you form your voting inclination? (assuming you voted).
A newspaper, TV, family, friends?
You believed what you saw or heard from others at some point in order to make a decision.

The point is that the information was on an ITV website. ITV aren't particularly fond of Corbyn so why should they tell a lie that is in his favour?

The point is simply that it was on a website; any website.

You're showing a chink in your bluster by implying that a specific website will be more biased than another, then telling me that that strengthens your argument.

If all this guff that you constantly spout is based upon something that you read on websites then everything you say is unfounded nonsense.

As for my voting, this time, I didn't bother.

It wasn’t just Ďanyí website. Thee is a lot of false information out there but there is also a lot a good, itís cutting through the crap thatís hard but Full Fact is not one of those disinformation sites. There is also good journalism out there too, more in digital than prints media. Itís not the mode of transport, itís the content and the aim.

No, the point is that it was an ITV website.NOT just any website. Really! What is wrong with you?

I think the one who is blustering is you. I gave you another website example because you were determined to reject the first. Two pieces of evidence are always better than one. Are they not?

I strongly suggest you stop this before you make an even bigger fool of yourself.

Why would I be impressed by it being an ITV website?
I doubt very much that their reporting of the news is any more accurate than any other website.

NO to Compulsory Voting!!!

Can you imagine a dystopian future where every morning when you switch on your phone, TV or computer, you have to enter your password but before you can do anything else you have to vote on some stuff, such as:

Q) PM Johnson has asked: Which traditional country pursuit should we allow to return first - a) Fox Hunting or b) Badger Baiting? a/b Vote NOW

Q) Should ITN scrap Channel 4 News and the money that is saved used to fund more Love Island? y/n Vote NOW

Q) Should we close BBC News and use the money that is saved for more EastEnders, Mrs Brown's Boys and movies with car chases? Vote NOW y/n

Full democracy? Trust the people? I hope you're joking Garth.
