Sigma 18-300 Contemporary Sony

Hi,

I recently bought a Sigma 18-300mm; a lens with a great reach. I notice however some major vignetting issues especially between f3.5-7.1 on almost all ends.
Anyone experience with this? Thanks for your assistance!318993_1531749465.jpg

All zooms and most especially long range or 'superzooms' suffer from this feature.

It's correctable in a lot of software, Lightroom, Photoshop, Capture One, Affinity etc.

That said it's a quite attractive effect in tyour sunset images - indeed many photographers add vignetting in those types of images.

Also check that it is not a lens hood / filter causing the vignetting, usually more noticeable at the shorter focal lengths, like 18mm.
