Sigma Lenses for Sony and MC11 SA-E

Are you looking for a different adapter as you don't say what you actually want? If so go on to Amazon and you will find adapters to fit E mount cameras.

There is a YouTube video

which will explain the adapters.
I use a Sony LAEA435 for my A7 but that is full frame and the A6500 has an APS/C sensor so I don't know whether it will work on the A6500.
You could also try the Sony web site

Well I have been doing some googling (which is what I would suggest you do) and lo and behold I come across a YouTube video which siggests that the Sigma art lens does not need an adapter - it should connect directly to the camera UNLESS you didn't buy a Sigma lens built for a Sony!

Quote:I want to know what adapter is useful for me to be able to use the Sigma Art 30 lens (Sony). I thought it served the MC11 to be able to link the sigma with the sony a6500 camera.

If the lens is a Sony a mount then the adapter is the Sony LA-EA3. The mc-11 converts canon ef or sigma mount to Sony e mount.

If the OP bought a Sigma 30mm f1.4 e mount then it will not need an adapter - Sigma have produced this lens FOR the Sony e mount. As sold by Park Cameras
