Sigma warranty

Having bought a new Sigma lens, I've been looking round the Sigma Photo websites to try and find where to register the lens. All I've found is where to get the extended warranty on EX lenses.
Don't Sigma register their warranties? If they do, where do I look, please?

I think you need only register the EX ones as they have the longer warranty. The others are probably covered directly with the supplier not Sigma direct.

Thanks John. I was beginning to wonder if that was the case.
In a way, it's a pity since it would be useful confirmation for an insurance company in the event of something happening.

You will probably find the suppliers proof of purchase is all you need as far as insurance requirements go, unless its stolen when you will have to produce a crime reference number as well.

You should have got a waranty card with the lens which you post to sigma to register your waranty
