Why is it that when you empty a tin of beans, there is always one stuck in the bottom ???GrinGrinGrin

But if there's one stuck in the bottom, it's not empty.

So true, but, do you struggle to get the last bean out, or discard the tin?

I usually encourage them to 'get out of the tin' with a dessertspoon as I do like the sauce and too much of that remains whether there is a bean or not I cannot say. Grin

If I'm really, really hungry then I'll do whatever it takes to get that last little barstewarad out, however, if I'm only average hungry, then the wee bugger can jolly well stay there, all lonely and left behind like a billy no mates.

If you turn the tin upside down a few minutes before you open it all the juice goes to the top. When you invert it and open it no bean will be stuck in the bottom.Wink

I was going to suggest writing to Heinz and suggest that they include an extra bean in the tin to cover the one that's always left inside but this is probably a half baked idea. Smile

Have you noticed that the end biscuits in the pack are often broken?

Somebody did once write to McVities with the suggestion that they could avoid the problem by not including these biscuits in the pack!

It's all down to social etiquette as it's that last bean that's responsible for flatulence. In the end it's your choice...Grin
