Would you choose a Snoot or a Honeycomb grid too create a high up spotlight effect such as?

Snoot and grid for me, I am a great fan of flash bender products and they have a very nice small snoot with three different grids, they also have a set of white grids for a more subtle modification of the light...

I do like the Rogue products, mostly as they are portable - i've had 2 flash benders now which i love on camera as giant white cards on
vertical pointing flashes. I did like your Grid suggestion it's now on my amazon wish list as its not the cheapest thing and i'd want one or 2.

The only Rogue product i did not like was the Soft Box Kit - maybe it might be useful off camera one day.

I'm reading this "studio anywhere" book at the moment and its challenging me to do well with basic portable kit in tight situations - i like the book quite a lot and started a review which i want to post as a blog entry here in a week or two.

The light in that image is positioned from the top of the model, honeycomb grid is generally used to stop scattering the light too much, snoot is generally used to give the shape of light much more directional like a spot light...in this image, it looks like a medium size soft box with a honeycomb grid used from the top of the model, but in that case, the light can't be shaped like this, so every other thing is the work of post processing, IMO...
