We have laws to stop discrimination....
but does it help?
latest on bbc
Or does society as a whole end up making said folk feeling that they have to "crawl back into the wood work" because of the frowns, stigma and judgement....

Methinks some people "doth protest too much".

I know of a clergyman who regularly makes homophobic sermons but, I understand, has been known to take people down to the pub.

Still on the subject of homophobic clergy, here is a little known fact. The song "So Macho" was penned by the Revd George Hargreaves , founder of the Scottish Christian Party which campaigns against gay activism.

The lyrics of the song he wrote make interesting reading, in the circumstances. Wink
