Sony Alpha 7C . . . crop factor?

A friend of mine has just bought a Sony Alpha 7C and is keen to purchase a "travel" lens.
I own Fuji hardware and am fully conversant with the crop factor of 1.5 and how it impacts on Fuji lenses, however, I'm simply checking if it's the same or different for Sony.
The quoted crop factor of the Sony is also 1.5, so my question is as follows:
When a lens is advertised (Sony or Tamron, Sigma et al ) for the Alpha 7C, should he multiply by 1.5 to get the "true" focal length of the lens OR have all figures quoted been converted to 35mm equivalent by already multiplying by 1.5?
I hope the above is clear, however, this may clarify:
If he sees a Tamron lens for the 7C quoted as 70-200, in use, will it effectively behave like a 105-300 lens?
Thanks,
Andy

Sony FE lenses give a 'full size' or full frame image on the Sony 7c.Confusingly the mount is an 'E' mount and many adverts and reviews for lenses just quote E mount but it is necessary to read the specification of the lens diligently and find the words 'full frame'.
What does your friend think of as a 'travel lens'?
The 7c is a small body & tends to be overwhelmed or overbalanced by many lenses.

He's going on my advice which is to get something along the lines of a 24-70mm.
My issue is does he look for something like a 16 - 50 lens . . . . and with a crop factor of 1.5, this would give him (roughly) a 24-70.
I have been praising the joys of wide angle lenses, so if he buys a lens with "24mm" on the box, will he end up with an effective 36mm lens, i.e. not particularly wide angle?

Agree with you on that score.
The 24-70 gets slated quite a bit but again, I had that lens and found it to be quite a capable lens.
Had I not bought the a7c as a kit then I would have been tempted to buy the 24-70 again.
As it stands, my a7c kit comprises of the Tamron 17-28 & 28-200
Absolutely amazing set up!!
