The InterWeb seems to be buzzing with news of a big Sony announcement later today?

Talks of up to 4 camera's - Is Sony going spec crazy.

What do you need from Sony.

That's a fine upgrade. I thought that the A7R-III was released just so they had something to release. It didn't tempt any A7R-II owners to upgrade, it didn't offer much more than the Mk II already offered. The Mk IV is different. It's also quite a bit cheaper than previous models' starting price.

Have downloaded the brochure and had a flick through and looks very impressive on ' paper '

When you have this amount of resolution you really can pull a high res headshot from a group portrait. Been pixel peeping at some like this. The ability to crop so heavily and have very high res files helps nature and wildlife photographers too.

Apologies, I forgot they do not do exchange rate conversions..... just change the $ to £ !
