I bought my Nikon 24-70 version off eBay for 99p plus postage.

I put ours in the studio equipment cupboard and a guest photographer was fooled, even though I didn't bother to weight it. It was very funny to see somebody struggle to remove the rear cap so means that it's earned its keep already.

Another worthwhile toy at this time of year is a left-handed corkscrew!

I have had one of these for several years. It great fun to drop it to the floor at camera club and see the pained faces as they think an expensive lens has hit the floor. #

Got one of these from my daughter for Xmas last year...as a Nikon user it was received through gritted teeth!
