Stop Delivery
Hi. I’m furious about the messaging on here.
I sent someone a Private message ages ago and I’ve just noticed that is has an option to select “Stop delivery”, which I assumed meant that they haven’t logged into the site, so it hasn’t been delivered. However, I know they’ve been on the site since? Just wondering why it hasn’t been delivered?

Your message is probably there waiting for them to click on their Private Messages. The 'Stop Delivery' is for you to personally stop the message going through (perhaps you've changed your mind or would like to add something to the message). When/if the person reads their Private Messages then you will see a green message 'Seen............(with date and time)'.

Karen is right - it is not the fault of the message service nor ePz, but simply a message to you, the sender, that the recipient has not opened your message. If the recipient doesn't open delivered messages, there's little the site can do about it...
That’s fine, I wasn’t having an issue with the site of the mechanism. I was just curious that’s all.

Another possible explanation - on occasions I have accidentally hit the Delete button instead of Open. I'm guessing that will leave the Stop Delivery button open for the sender, whilst I have no way of accessing the message.

I'd imagine that if they loaded their messages list, that the Stop Delivery option would disappear, but I guess that depends when the message body if loaded to the webpage? But yes, if that's a possibility, then its a likely scenario here.

I seem to remember that in the past when I have had a private message from someone I get an email from ePz telling me that I have a message.

Indeed, we do. It's Ok, clearly this person didn't want to read me message.

It's a choice which you can make in Settings--->Manage the emails & notifications I receive.
