I am a super...early riser....it is 03:45 right now..... I use it as my thinking time....then doze in a chair until a decent hour.

I have just been trawling through the amazing, zany, arty, thought provoking photography of ...MAN RAY....

Lots of ideas among them for bored....in lock-down Photographers.

Perhaps EPZ mods could start a ...Man-Ray....inspired thread ?

Hi Hobbo, sounds like you could also use a new upload Tag on your photos - "Man Ray Inspired"

As a lock down worker its frustrating to see so much from the window yet be tied to the home PC screen doing work. So I expect it'll be more garden flowers at lunchtime.

It's soooo tempting to get on a train and get into London to document the empty streets and my other stomping grounds. What an opportunity; what to do. Is it worth it?

Depends on many things I would say. First I wouldn't, personally, go, but then I am in a high risk group and if I was fine and young then I might go but not on public transport. And by 'young' I mean under 30. And only you know how much your life means to you and/or how much you dislike being extremely ill. A chance missed? Personally I would say 'a good miss'.

Really?
That's going against all the official advice about avoiding all non-essential travel, being asked to stay at home as much as possible and is just plain selfish.

Got a cat? you could always follow it around at night and see what it gets up to, to make it more challenging no flash allowed, just a torch.

I don't need to reign in anything, Chris...you made it sound like you were seriously considering doing it.

Well I've 2 family members with it, have missed my husband's 70th birthday, 2 theatre shows and a hospital appointment. So I'm hardly like to go wandering around. Whatever ....

It is very important if you have a cat, especially a young one, that you fit it’s collar with the biggest, loudest bell or bells.... none of our late moggies went for birds after they learned that the more they shook with anticipation before a leap, the bird had flown....

It’s the Belles Esmerelda ...it’s the Bells !

I was hoping that this would be a positive post..... 🤔😷😤😬🤔🤗

Goimg back to the original post, and maybe to have a bit of a laugh, maybe we could have a 'permission' button, like the 'mods' one to actively encourage humourous (or downright risque Grin) captions /thought/speech bubbles to the posted image.

I often see things in pictures that make me think of something funny (yes, ok, I know my humour borders on schoolboy) but being old school and not wishing to accidentally offend I tend (mostly) to keep it to myself.

Just a thought for while we are all confined to barracks. Smile

Yes, me too. I'm off out soon over the park. On my own, I hasten to add. I won't be near anyone, promise. Wink

I reckon so.
And yes, I'm seriously considering it.
In fact, a colleague at work went down there (we live in Bedfordshire) by train and was the only passenger on it.
She walked from one end of the train to the other taking a mobile phone video of the its completely people free interior as she went.
Passed the time, I suppose!
