I am not a big apple fan but an iPad with pencil does the trick for friends of mine, mainly due to the pencil. Alternatively there are the surface tablets with a pen and they do the same
A chip as chips fire tablet.
Good for on the fly basic edits.
Loads of online editors now, plus a few basic apps.
