Hi All,

Has any body used the above combination & how did it work?

I've been shooting quiet alot of product photography & was thinking this would be my best option to view my images?

Set up advice would also be appreciated too.

Thanks in advance for any information.

Regards Wayne

I couldn't get it to work with a Macbook Pro and wither a 350D or a 5D. I'll try again at some point, but I just kept getting very, very frustrated. Especially when I found the program I needed didn't actually ship with the camera!

The whole EOS software system is very unstable on my mac. I keep meaning to write a note to Canon!

It's fine on my Powerbook + 30D so it should work fine with a macbook too. It's infuriatingly slow at copying the files over though (which it does instantly at the time you take, and doesn't let you take another until it's finished).

Unless you have a specific use for it, I can't see the point. It's certainly not more convenient. As a cable release, a Macbook is quite expensive and cumbersome :o)

I found the same using the Canon software on Windows with my 10D, a nice idea, but the slowness got on my nerves too much.

It works very well on my home build PC and not at all unstable
