The Canon 500d

Hi all,
After selling my old camera, I have now decided to purchase the Canon 500d. I was initally attracted to this camera because of the 15MPs, which is the same as the 50d but cheaper! I'm doing fashion photography, so I wanted to know if this camera was suitable for the genre, also what lenses I should purchase alongside the canon 500d, and which lenses would be more suitable for shooting fashion?

I always aim for a very shallow depth of field in my images, therefore which lens would achieve me an easy, very shallow depth of field.

Thanks in advance!

Pretty much any camera can take any image style, Lens and photographer add the extra ingredients.....Smile

This lens may well be a good starting point ......Wink

The f/2.8 aperture will give you plenty to play with DOF wise.....!!!!
