Went for a walk around Derwent and Howden reservoirs today. Got there early before the bank holiday crowds and began my 10 mile route. It was so peaceful and still with the reservoir as still as a mill pond. That, coupled with the bird song and sunshine just made we keep stopping to listen and think ‘wow’!! Good for the soul!!
