Some heavy cropping could solve either.

Some fabulous images from Hubble on the BBC website. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-52106420 There's a programme on the Beeb about it tonight, too. That's my viewing sorted for this evening. Smile

I was watching the BBC Breakfast programme early this morning with the sound turned down and subtitles on. The subtitles often give a chuckle when they are wrong and this morning was a classic.
Apparently Tottenham Hotspur players will return to training today. 'Nude'

I've worn only about 6 different items of clothing while being stuck at home. I reckon, even when i get back to work 2 days a week, that i won't ever need buy any more clothes (or bags - my weakness). Unless i pile on even more weight ....

Like you SlowSong, I'm ballooning and haven't worn a decent shirt for weeks.

SWMBO has been baking like a mad woman and I refuse to waste food, so it's got to be eaten, so, to demolish 1 banana/fruit cake, a bran loaf and a dozen scones, I look forward to gaining more weight.

One thing I am really happy about is that none of the kids in our street have nits now!

Saw this earlier ...
If you had purchased 1,000 of shares in Delta Airlines one year ago, you would have 49.00 today. If you had purchased 1,000 of shares in AIG one year ago, you would have 33.00 today. If you had purchased 1,000 of shares in Lehman Brothers one year ago, you would have 0.00 today. If you had purchased 1,000 of shares in Northern Rock three years ago, you would have 0.00 today. But, if you had purchased 1,000 worth of beer one year ago at Tesco, drank all the beer, then taken the aluminium cans to the scrap metal dealer, you would have received a 214.00. Based on the above, the best current investment plan is to drink heavily and recycle. A recent study found that the average Briton walks about 900 miles a year. Another study found that Britons drink, on average, 22 gallons of alcohol a year. That means that, on average, Britons get about 41 miles to the gallon! Makes you proud to be British.

Had delivery today of a new monitor, an Eizo CS2420, and very impressed with it

I knew my current monitor was not in the best of health and I could see the image quality was getting worse ( and trend line on calibration profiling ) but after 10 years I suppose that was to be expected.

Obviously the image quality is the main reason I bought it but setting up dual monitor working is going to be great Smile
And it has an anti glare panel so no more reflections !

Tools, browser etc. on the old monitor and full size image in the viewer on the new monitor.

Spitfire Flypast

Well, in fact, it flew past 3 times on its VE Day Anniversary flight tour which came to Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead.

I stayed in my garden, so not the best viewpoint, but I got this and a couple of other shots.
