Quote:Just got back online..........the 'net went down Sunday afternoon and I was told the SNR had been set too low (totally foreign language! SNR = Signal to Noise Ratio). After a lot of faffing about on my part and them not quite understanding that sending me an email with instructions on how to fix it wouldn't work (...........I couldn't actually open my emails!), we've managed to get it up and running again! (touch wood).

This morning I noticed a new crop of funghi around a tree stump on a local grass verge. I decided to take photos of them early this afternoon before they were damaged. Using my Sony a7 and Tamron zoom I took a number of photos of the funghi from different angles. The one included here was timed at 1.13 pm. By 2 o'clock a council worker had mown the whole lot to tiny fragments!
Lucky!

The strange thing is that two workers turned up in a van, unloaded a rotary mower, mowed about 10 metres of grass verge including the funghi then left. The nearby 100's of metres of similar grass verge next to roads are still long and need cutting.

My 12 year old Renault passed its MOT today. It has only done 44,000 miles and about 200 in short runs this year..... Hoping for more interesting excursions in 2021..... with care!Grin

Spent a few spare moments this week going back through my image library and re-processing some of them, just out of curiosity.

Back in February 2009, when I went digital with the Sony A900 I used Lightroom 2 and am now using Capture One Pro 20.1

Not really a fair comparison but the difference in the results is quite unbelievable / amazing.

So, if you are at a loss for something to do this week-end give it a try with whatever software you are currently using, perhaps ?

Just made soda bread. Hubs is making home-made soup. Lovely smells and tastes. What could be better? SmileSmileSmile

Agree, I bake our bread and nothing beats home made bread warm from the oven and homemade soup (my favourites being leek and potato and minestrone).
