Nah, I only nibble Wink

Hmm, foot passenger fees certainly not as painful, and cheaper than a flight, will look out the sick bag for the crossing then!

Can I warn you I was going to head from Troon rather than Cairnryan as they both go to Larne, but at 6 fare difference, I worked out there was more than 6 in diesel costs between Troon and Cairnryan! You might be able to twist my arm though if you were particularly stuck on Cairnryan...

46 Troon to Larne return, 40 Cairnryan to Larne. Cairnryan would be closer for you (aka Stranraer, but it obviously sounds posher to the ferry companies!) Given fuel costs for you to get to Stranraer though, you might be better with a flight over to Belfast (works out about the same for me, if not slightly cheaper on the ferry)

We flew from Bristol last year for about 50 each and then hired a largish car between four of us....once you're there you never have to drive more than 10 miles in any direction, so it works out pretty affordable.

bags me the same chalet as Colin 'cos he cooks a mean breakfast.
