Third party shutter release cable Panasonic GX8
I have been trying to buy a shutter release or remote for my Panasonic GX8, Panasonic say none of their online partners have any so wonder if anyone has used a third party version there are lots on Amazon and ebay mostly from China but I am wary of frying the electrics, any advice please.

Might possibly be made in China, but the Hahnel make is well known. I was looking for one for my Panasonic GX-7 but this is out of my price range...................
