Hey all, does anyone know where I can find tide tables for the next 2 1/2 weeks for around Mull and Skye? The beeb one only does the next 6 days unfortunately, as does the Proudman Oceanographic Laboratory (POL) one (with much more limited geographic options), which will cover my time on Mull, but not Skye.

Thanks Smile

Someone did a fantastic link a couple of years ago to a website where you could put in a location etc etc... and get the data.

Didn't BM it at the time - Sorry Katy but, the answer is 'out there' I know.

Anyone remember that thread/link??

(Don't you just HATE people that type faster than you!?? Wink [Well done Fran!!])

oh yes, sorry Bill, I'd muddled it up with another site, the problem with POL is it only has Tobermory, nowhere on Skye. I'm not sure how much the variation is up and down the coast, and there's a couple of walks I'd like to do that are tide dependent

This link is to the Admiralty's 'Easy Tide' tide prediction web site.

http://easytide.ukho.gov.uk/EasyTide/EasyTide/SelectPort.aspx

Un-registered you can view the tides arround the world for the next 7 days or register with the site for more.
hope this is of use.

I used to get these little tide table books when visiting the north coast of Devon and Cornwall, when I went on surf trips to the area.
It might be worth phoning a local tourist information number in the area you're visiting, to see if they can help.
