Can someone help me please? Never used this tripod n going out later to a shoot with proper photographers. I went to loosen the screw n something fell off which i assume was that silver square nut. Tried to fix it back on. No go. Taken that bit off of the tripod n still cant fit it back in between the plastic! It just wont go far enough in. The screw obviously wont stay put without it!

Can you see that the silver nut is not in line which means that thing on the left wonít fit into the hole n subsequently back onto the tripod.....

the nut definitely has to go on the left side of the ring. It looks like there is a slot or crevice for it to go inside and once the bolt screws in place it sandwiches the part of the plastic that clamps together

hope this helps

Donít know how it even fell off in the first place but it did

hiya, the nut does not go into the gap, the nut and bolt close the gap up, tightening your tripod collar, there should be another hole in the other side for the bolt to go through, then the nut goes the other side of that.

hope this helps
