Trying to find a specific mechanical 35mm rangefinder camera

22 Jul 2019 7:23PM
I was wondering if anyone on here knows of a 35mm rangefinder that has these features, or at least most of them:
28-40mm lens
light meter
is small in size
is relatively cheap
automatic shutter speed (preferably that i can over-ride if need be)
f1.8 or close too it
manual focus and aperture

any suggestions/opinions would be much appreciated!

You are probably looking at an Olympus 35 RD or the better spec. 35SP.
The 35SP is one of the best compact 35mm cameras that you are likely to find.(And bear in mind the resale value of one that you buy will be gradually increasing.)
In today's used film camera market anything really useable is unlikely to be cheap.
You might try various Yashica, Konica or Ricoh models for economy or even a Canon.....

Ha! I know exactly what you are after. It is made by FUJICA which later was known as FUJI. most exciting feature? Film winder was on the bottom of the camera.
