Unusual Wildlife Near Your Home

As the streets of our towns, cities and villages are a lot quieter these days there have been a few reports of wildlife claiming urban areas as their stomping grounds - I wondered if anyone has witnessed any unusual visitors of late?
One occurrence which particularly amused me was the goats of the Great Orme in Llandudno heading down into the town for a jolly !
If you manage to get any snaps, we'd love to see them! So far the most excitement I've had is a few more garden birds, although maybe that's because I'm not usually home at this time of the day! It was lovely to see blue tits and wrens, usually all I see are pigeons!

I saw a Heron on our neighbours roof a month or so ago, didn't get time for a shot, but I'd not seen one do that in the 20 years we've been here, we're not in the country either, we're on a housing estate.
For a year now, we've had a regular visit form a hedgehog, his timings good and visits every night between 21:20 and 21:30, he knows theres a decent helping of dog food awaiting, then he'll spend up to 30 mins looking for worms etc.
Then he'll come back around 02:20 ish hoping I've replenished the dog food, no chance at that sort of time
We put a wildlife cam out each night just for the fun of it so his timings are fairly accurate.

We have a play ground in our locality, where 14 numbers of golden jackels were visible in the daylight, a few people saw them, i tried yesterday but failed, unfortunately yesterday at night when i was passing by that ground i saw them but was not prepared with my camera, so taken by my mobile...

In Haridwar, spotted dear were visible in the road and in Chandigarh, a leopard, as seen in the television yesterday...
Probably they are trying to reclaim their territory...

Quote:I'd love to see deer.
The trouble with having deer visiting your garden, they don't respect the fact you've paid a lot of money for the plants............it would be nice if they weren't eaten on their first day in the ground!! (I have a Hebe Gebe that is a really odd shape because they like to practise topiary on it!!)

Did anyone see the news report of the herd of deer that wandered into London yesterday - I shall have to see if I can find it again!
