My old 60D is looking a bit tired and clunky now so I was pondering whether to trade it in for a used 70D or 80D. I don't need high specs, but the 70D looked like a good option, especially as the mirror clunk and vibrations appears to be reduced on that model. I rarely use the DSLR nowadays, but I do still like to use it for macro or wide angle stuff. Not into video or high speed shooting.

Has anyone tried either or both of the above models? If so, perhaps you could advise which would be the best buy, bearing in mind that there's about £200 difference between them, in Excellent condition on MPB.

I won't get much for the old 60D but it's had it's day.

Maybe consider a 77D similar to the 80D and has a newer processor..........and is cheaper.
HDEW are doing it new at £499 3yr warranty. They are grey imports but from a UK firm with a good reputation.
I had a 70D but traded up to the 77D, no regrets.

Tks capto, but I'd rather not go above the earlier 80D model as I'll have to upgrade my Elements 14 again.
I know I can use DPP but I don't want to.

I meant DNG too. I'm happy with E14. Don't like the others. I'm only interested in the cameras.
