Using Macbook Pro as monitor with Sony NEX - possible? Not possible?

Hi I have an NEX 5n, here's a question: Is it possible to use my 2014 Macbook Pro as a video monitor using a cable from the camera? Do I need to install some kind of software or app to make this happen? Or is it possible at all? Thanks and let me know if you know
