Hi
I have just received the 7Artisans 7.5mm f2.8 for canon eos M. very pleased with the build quality. how do I get it to work? I have set it to AV,I pressed the shutter and it does not fire, so I tried it with M, same result. I did try it with SV, nothing. I am a bit worried that its either me or the lens is duff.
Can anyone help me with this

There might be an item in your camera menu which says 'Release shutter without lens' or similar. This allows manual or heritage lenses with manual adaptors to be used.
(At least that's what happens on my Sony and Panasonics.) Grin

Hi
I have nothing in the menu for that, only "release shutter without card" in the adverts it is compatible with canon EOS M, the M100 Eos has only the same menu as the Eos M and I cannot figure how to get it take pics.

According to dp review:

If not follow these steps:

Menu> Yellow tabs> Cust Fn.> Release shutter with no lens

You are my hero! Works perfectly, thank you!!
