Using studio flash with a 350D
Just wondered if anyone else out there is using a 350D with studio flash. I've ordered the Elinchron D-lite kit (still not delivered because of stock unavailability) and Wondered how to trigger them. Canon have just informed me that they can not guarantee that it will work since the speedlite fires a pre flash on ETTL2 which may trigger the lights.Would this be the same for any infrared trigger on the hot shoe?.
Any help would be appreciated.

That was almost brave, but you fell at the last fence.I've ordered the trigger by the way.
I got my D-Lite 2 kit a couple of weeks ago and use a Kaiser Hot Shoe flash adaptor 1300 on my 350D at only £6 and it works brilliantly! No problems with the D-Lite 2 lites and no pre-flash at all! I have done some shots with them and posted on E-zine! Have a look!

I use my 20D with my prolinca studio flash and fire them with my flash gun set to it's lowest setting and facing upwards - just the tiniest amount of light will trigger the studio flash. However I do want to get a remote to save where and tear on the flashgun. Hope that helps a bit! Sandra
