Hi all, I am thinking about geting a high density ND filter and have seen that 7DS are advertising an eight stop variable at a very reasonable price. Anyone tried one of these devices? I note that there is no manufacturers name mentioned in the blurb and nothing visible on the published photo of the product. What you reckon, is it worth a try?

How much is it?

As far as I'm aware 7dayshop have a very good return policy so perhaps it could be returned if you wasn't happy with it.

I'm sure they'll be fine. I had to send a battery back last week. No problem whatsoever and the replacement arrived very quickly.

Interested in how you find this filter as I've been looking at it too.

Yes, keep us all up-dated on this. If they work as claimed, then it will save a bit of money. Makes you wonder why it was never thought of before.

I have just got one of these, and used it for the first time yesterday. I don't usually do landscapes so the only lens i had suitable was the canon 18-55. New lens needed and lots of practice. The picture is straight from camera, just resized.
