I've a couple of Lambrettas - a 1960 TV175 which is ill at the moment and a 1967 Special SX. I love 'em and potter around Fife in summer on them for fun. Journeys to the local strawberry stall/supermarket etc. I've also got a Triumph Bonneville (one of the new ones) which I use for longer trips or if going on motorways etc.

Good luck and be safe!

Ian.

Pleased to see that there are some scooter lovers out there! I've just got the Vespa LX125 and I am completley new to the scooter scene! Hope to progress into getting a classic one day. I opened myself up really to the 'get a real bike' comments really!!!

My 1960 Lambretta (7 years my senior!) has just had the all clear from the 'scooter surgeon'. Looking forwards to getting it back again.......

so I can look at it for the next 6 months until the sun comes out again !

It's a beautiful old cream Italian series 2 - all curvy and cool. Will post a picture next week if I remember for the scooter fans.

Ian.
